This is perfectly in line with the game’s clear design philosophy of making the game as widely competitive as possible. ![]() Whatever way you look at it, Legends of Runeterra is making sure that both established players and new members of the community are getting something at launch. Depending on your region, it may even be available to download before then! If you prefer to get your gaming on the go, Legends of Runeterra will also be coming to iOS and Android at launch on April 30th. ![]() In addition, Riot Games are making it easier for new players to unlock cards by boosting experience gain for the existing factions by 50% up to level 12. For your first seven days, players will be receiving in-game rewards simply for logging in ranging from randomised card packs through to a whole new starter deck. On top of this, there is an entire galleon of other rewards coming for new players and beta veterans alike. Legends of Runeterra certainly isn’t settling for a quiet launch. These brand new cosmetic items include two guardian characters and new card backs for all the different factions. Rising Tides introduces over 120 new cards, 11 new Champions (including my main man Twisted Fate), 6 new card effect keywords, and brand new cosmetic items. Invite a friend or match with someone new, select a Champion to create a premade deck, and combine your forces to repel the invasion.Perhaps the largest element of Patch 1 is the introduction of the Rising Tides card set a whole new set of cards completely disrupting the established meta of the beta gameplay. United Front (PVE): Runeterra's first co-op Lab returns and pits you and an ally against one of several powerful Noxian Generals controlled by the AI.Instead of receiving random cards, you’ll be challenged to brew the perfect deck… or, if you’d rather get right into the action, you can choose quickplay and queue up with one of Heimerdinger’s own concoctions! Slay your opponent's monster to receive a powerful buff spell and spawn a new, even more powerful monster in its place. Welcome to the Jungle: Our first-ever constructed Lab drops you and your opponent into the wilds of the Rift! Each player has a Vulnerable, Immobile jungle monster on their board.Heimerdinger’s Temporal Transducer has gone haywire, and everything is looking a little quicker than usual! Receive a hand of random, heavily-discounted cards each round and spend your 4 mana wisely to outwit your opponent. Ultra Rapid Draw: This high-speed evolution of our very first Lab was also our most popular of all time outside of Lab of Legends.Here are the 3 modes being tested out in Labs this go around. The lab returns once more! This is where players can test out some crazy and experimental game modes. There will also be six new relics available as well. ![]() Additionally, there's going to be four new champions for Path of Champions, being Kai'Sa, Evelynn, Gwen and Taliyah. There's a new region to explore in Shurima. There's new content for the Path of Champions, which is the game's PVE content. This effect last the entire game, and stacks with more dead Hallowed cards. When a unit with Hallowed dies, for the rest of the game, your first attacking unit will gain +1/_0 for the round. ![]()
